  • Responsible for the management of The Learning Society including individual and corporate donor relations, speaker selection and negotiation, programming partnerships both in the community and with university departments;

  • Raise approximately $600,000 annually through memberships and corporate and foundation sponsorships and oversees department budget to include forecasting of public lecture ticket sales, membership and sponsorship revenue while monitoring all expenses in a fiscally responsible manner;

  • Design all Learning Society produced events including sold-out public lectures, donor receptions, panel discussions and student and community education programs throughout the year. Manages the execution of event logistics and vendor partners ensuring a flawless experience for guests; and

  • Create integrated marking plans and manages vendors to ensure communications for fundraising, community programs, lecture series and student engagement activities are developed, approved, and sent on time and on budget in order to reach all fiscal goals.
